Ubuntu 9.10启动报错 Out of Range Pointer解决办法

新安装的Ubuntu 9.10更新后重启，发现grub2引导时出现错误，提示：
out of range pointer 0x400040
Aborted. Press any key to exit.查询发现是一个bug，见https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/424503
与ati的显卡有关系。查询到两种解决办法，我到做法为：
修改/boot/grub/grub.cfg，将其中的下面句子注释掉
#if loadfont /usr/share/grub/unicode.pf2 ; then
# For backward compatibility with versions of terminal.mod that don"t
# understand terminal_output
# terminal gfxterm
