RedHat Linux 9安装VMware Tools手记

为什么要给 RedHat Linux 9 装 VMware Tools？

因为它可以改善 Virtual Machine 的运行性能，而且可以让 Host OS 和 Guest OS 互通有无，这样我们就不用伤脑筋，要架设什么服务器，来沟通两个 OS，现在就让我们开始吧！

以ROOT帐户登录LINUX，VM菜单：VM--安装VMware Tools，打开终端：
注意：在linux的各种命令行下输入"命令"或"软件名"一定要注意大小写！！！
我装VMwareTools的时候没注意,烦了我几天.
[root@linuxidc ~]# cd /mnt/cdrom
[root@linuxidc ~]# cd /cdrom
[root@linuxidc ~]# lsVMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.rpm VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz
[root@linuxidc ~]# rpm -ivh VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.i386.rpm
[root@linuxidc ~]# cp VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz /tmp
[root@linuxidc ~]# cd /tmp
[root@linuxidc ~]# tar zxpf VMwareTools-5.5.1-19175.tar.gz
[root@linuxidc ~]# cd vmware-tools-distrib
[root@linuxidc vmware-tools-distrib]# ./vmware-install.pl
